If you need help changing out the streamer driver on your EV servers, please check the Veritas knowledgebase.While EMC engineered the streamer driver EMC personnel are not certified to work on EV servers.Keep in mind this can change without notice so check every-time you upgrade your ECS software.Example: for ECS 3.0HF1 the streamer driver version should be 1.0.10.0.Look at the Ad On section and you will see the version of the streamer driver which is compatible with given ECS version.Go to ECS software with or without encryption.Each time you plan to upgrade your ECS please check the Downloads page off of.Here are some other detail for customers: For Centera customers that are migrating to ECS, EV will continue to access the legacy CAS data on ECS via the CAS API but all new data will be written to ECS via the EV Streamer, since these will access different Vault store partitions. It integrates with ECS via the S3 protocol and offers the same functionality that is provided when accessing Centera via the CAS protocol. This streamer driver is developed by EMC ECS engineering and has been verified by Veritas. When implementing Veritas Enterprise Vault (EV) with ECS, the only supported configuration is to use the EV Streamer API.
